Our staff is dedicated to assisting the firm's clients. The staff is also trained in working with the attorneys in preparing and researching legal cases, communicating with the courts regarding current and future cases and organizing most aspects of the law firm.
Joanna was born in Austin, Texas and grew up in Albuquerque, where she attended high school and college. She graduated from the University of New Mexico in 1997, and began her legal career in 1998, working in bankruptcy law. Joanna moved to Portland, Oregon in 2001 and worked in Oregon and Washington state and federal courts, supporting multiple partners in bankruptcy, creditors' rights, and business litigation. She returned to New Mexico and joined The Bregman Law Firm, P.C. in 2004.
Joanna assists the attorneys in handling a variety of complex commercial litigation matters, as well as the firm's collections practice. Joanna works closely with our clients in pursuing collection of accounts, working with them through the judicial process, and assisting them with post-judgment collection efforts.
Paige received her degree in English from the University of New Mexico in December of 2015, and joined The Bregman Law Firm, P.C. in early 2016. She is a New Mexico native and prior to joining the firm, Paige worked for the Albuquerque/Bernalillo County Library System as a page. She also worked for Technical Services in the UNM Libraries for over three years, where her position focused on Latin American and Ibero Studies cataloging and discovery.
Paige assists the firm in a variety of areas including scheduling, discovery, e-filing, client relations, tracking deadlines for court filings, and employment appeals.
She has studied both Spanish and Portuguese, and enjoys spending time with her family and dogs, playing guitar, dancing, and theatre.
Victoria is an Albuquerque native who graduated from The University of New Mexico in May of 2016 with a double major in Political Science and English and a minor in Business Management. While attending college she worked in Senator Tom Udall’s Albuquerque office, as well as working on his campaign in various capacities such as event organization, research on economic development in rural New Mexico, campaign advertising, and parades. Victoria brought her valuable customer service and public relations skills to The Bregman Law Firm, P.C. when she joined the firm in 2016 after graduating from UNM.
Victoria assists the firm in various ways with its Personal Injury, Medical Malpractice, Wrongful Death, and Collections practices including requesting, collecting, and organizing medical records, e-filing, client relations, debt collection, discovery, and trial preparation.
In her spare time, Victoria enjoys travel, reading, film, spending time with loved ones, playing soccer, and attending sporting events.
